Wolf In White Van by John Darnielle

Wolf In White Van by John Darnielle was a break from what I normally read, so I was expecting something different, but I got a little more than I bargined for. When I get in a reading rut, reading the same sort of things, I will pick up a book like this to cleanse the palate. What I got was a structurally interesting book, but one that for some reason just did not hit with me. 

 Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with anything between the covers. Darnielle puts out a book worth the read. I loved the idea, and the way the book was written. The story was solid, but the combination of the two landing off base with me. Without a doubt this book would nail the right reader in the brain, I just was not the right reader.
