Craven-Pamlico Regional Library Reader's Advisory LibGuide
I created this page using SpringShare products for my regional library system because no site as such existed. I plan to update it every Monday by adding a reading list or link. I have also shared it to local social media sites on my own as my library system uses social media sparingly.
On the site, I have included reading lists that I have made over the years, with updated links and titles that are specific to Craven-Pamlico Regional Library System. The lists are housed on a Google drive that controlled by the library system and the links are for viewing only. My plan is to add a list a week on Mondays and update the website (including a reposting on my personal Facebook)
The site also include information about out library system's digital book club that is not posted elsewhere on a website or social media. My hope is to attract attention to the programing because my library simply is not despite my repeatedly urging them to do so.
Finally the site includes information on our book club kits that are not being promoted elsewhere. These kits include books and discussion guides for book clubs to check out. These are popular, but we can make them more so.
I have made this site, and had to post it on my personal social media because my regional library system, and my branch does not use social media to promote library programs or services. In addition these types of site have not been created in the past.
